Incident Response Security Engineer

Overview

Incident Response Security Engineer supporting detection and incident response capabilities for ClickHouse’s products and services in a remote role within the United States.

What you'll do

• Develop processes, tooling, and automation to scale incident management response and mitigate business risks.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, product, support, and business operations to identify detection use cases and automation opportunities.
• Use a threat-modeling-centric approach to incident detection and response.
• Maintain a security logging platform.
• Stay up to date on latest threats and attack vectors to improve detection and attack surface management.
• Handle information security events and incidents across ClickHouse products and services.

What you'll need

• Background in product security/red teaming/penetration testing/threat modeling plus incident detection and response experience.
• Strong knowledge and experience with one or more cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience securing large-scale customer-facing cloud infrastructures.
• Significant development and automation experience.
• Preference for Golang and Python.
