IND Lead Software Engineer - CI/CD Delivery Engineer

Overview

Lead release orchestration and deployment execution for Billing and Premium Audit platforms. Coordinate CI/CD delivery, environment readiness, release validation, defect triage, stabilization, and production cutovers.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end CI/CD release planning, sequencing, readiness reviews, and production cutovers.
• Coordinate application, database, batch, API, and cloud deployment pipelines.
• Drive readiness across development, QA, PTE, production, and other environments.
• Facilitate dress rehearsals, go/no-go reviews, warranty planning, and post-release validation.
• Lead defect triage and stabilization during testing, cutover, warranty, and production support.
• Maintain runbooks, implementation plans, rollback plans, calendars, and communications.
• Improve release governance, CI/CD automation, deployment controls, and delivery predictability.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of experience in software engineering, release engineering, DevOps, production delivery, or technical delivery.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, deployment pipelines, branching strategies, release controls, environment promotion, and rollback planning.
• Experience coordinating complex releases across multiple components, teams, and environments.
• Hands-on exposure to GitHub, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Rally, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms.
• Working knowledge of cloud, API, database, batch, and integration delivery patterns.
• Understanding of DevSecOps practices, security gates, code quality reviews, automated testing, and shift-left practices.
• Experience working with Agile teams and cross-functional delivery partners.

Nice to have

• Experience with Billing, Premium Audit, insurance, financial, or enterprise transaction-processing platforms.
• Experience with AWS migration, cloud modernization, or database and batch migration releases.
• Knowledge of production support, observability, incident management, reliability engineering, or operational readiness.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools, automated test generation, log analysis, or release documentation.
