Overview

Lead Software Engineer to lead the development of full-stack solutions, guiding a team and architecting robust systems to deliver high-quality software.

What you'll do

• Provide technical guidance and contribute to delivery within a collaborative scrum team.
• Design and deliver features, including coding, optimization, and automation.
• Plan, estimate, and deliver work via backlog grooming, sprint execution, and production releases.
• Support uplift in development practices, CI/CD automation, and AI capabilities.
• Champion engineering practices and help manage technical debt.
• Take shared responsibility for production health, including deployments, monitoring, and ongoing support.
• Identify and resolve technical risks and escalate blockers appropriately.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification/degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
• Frontend proficiency using React and/or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Backend experience with Java (Spring Boot) and/or Node.js, plus RESTful services/Web API work.
• Experience with testing and quality engineering, including unit testing and TDD/BDD approaches.
• Secure coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
