IND Staff Software Engineer

Overview

You will design and develop new capabilities for existing applications in an agile team, aligning solutions to architectural standards and technology roadmaps.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end solutions across multiple platforms.
• Develop applications using Java and J2EE, including microservices, JMS, and XML/JSON.
• Build and consume APIs and develop SOAP/REST web services with Java Spring Boot.
• Apply shift-left practices for security, testing, and performance in the dev cycle.
• Contribute to cloud migration and deployment in AWS.
• Implement DevSecOps/CI-CD practices and monitoring/observability; remediate vulnerabilities.
• Mentor team members and manage multiple priorities while communicating risks and mitigations.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience with Java and J2EE technologies.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and application migration.
• Front-end development experience with Angular or React.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of software architecture, security, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST) using Java Spring Boot or Apache Camel.
