Information Security Engineer

Overview

Information Security Engineer responsible for protecting systems, networks, and data by implementing security controls, assessing risks, and supporting compliance with security standards.

What you'll do

• Implement and enhance information security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Design and implement CIS server hardening standards.
• Support ITIL incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Maintain ISO 27001-compliant information security management systems.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
• Integrate security concepts into cloud and IT operations.

What you'll need

• 3 to 6 years of information security experience.
• Experience with CIS server hardening, ITIL processes, ISO 27001, and cloud security concepts.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant industry certifications.
• Knowledge of information security standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure security principles.
• Experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus, encryption, or vulnerability assessment tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
• Understanding of IT operations.
