Infrastructure Engineer - Network operations

Overview

Infrastructure Engineer responsible for building, maintaining, and operating reliable, scalable, and secure network infrastructure platforms. The role focuses on network operations, incident management, automation, security, and cross-functional delivery.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain infrastructure solutions for business requirements.
• Monitor network and system performance and resolve incidents, vulnerabilities, and outages.
• Automate operational tasks and processes using scripting and coding.
• Implement secure infrastructure configurations and protective controls.
• Execute production changes within regulated change, risk, and control processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers, and vendors on infrastructure solutions.
• Improve monitoring, operational reliability, and incident-prevention practices.

What you'll need

• Strong network fundamentals across routing, switching, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, and edge services.
• Experience with packet-level analysis and network troubleshooting.
• Experience executing incident and problem management and post-incident reviews.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst, F5 or equivalent, Fortinet or equivalent, and Infoblox.
• Practical experience with Python and/or Ansible automation.
• Awareness of audit, risk, and control requirements in regulated environments.

Nice to have

• Experience improving monitoring, alert quality, and operational KPIs.
• Exposure to CI/CD, configuration management, testing, and infrastructure-as-code such as Terraform.
• Working knowledge of AWS or Azure hybrid networking.
• Experience managing vendor-delivered services and knowledge transfer.
