Infrastructure Technology Lead Analyst - Vice President

Overview

Assist with Web and App Middleware administration, including network maintenance, technical guidance and security, in coordination with the Technology Infrastructure team. Use infrastructure technology knowledge and identified policies to process data, resolve issues and execute administrative tasks.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Global Wealth and USCC Application teams, production support teams, architects and support teams to ensure application high availability and maintain service quality.
• Analyze and resolve issues from routine to critical failures within established service level targets.
• Manage security certificates for web hosting products.
• Support technology improvements such as new infrastructure installs, hardware and software upgrades, and engineering support.
• Analyze customer requirements to ensure standards, policies and guidelines are upheld from an information security perspective, and support routine compliance activities.
• Provide L3 oversight and direction for audit, risk and compliance matters.
• Plan and document disaster recovery, and conduct regular COB tests to check integrity and functionality of disaster environments.
• Support risk assessments where technical expertise is required, and assist Security Incident Response Teams in investigating incidents and training key staff.
• Analyze Information Security procedures and help implement them across IT and the business.
• Create complex project plans, perform impact analyses, solve high-impact problems and projects, and provide resolution to restore services.
• Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) after service restoration.
• Design testing approaches, complex processes and reporting streams, and assist with automation of repetitive tasks.
• Provide technical and strategic direction to team members.
• Review requirement documents, define hardware requirements, and update processes and procedures as necessary.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct project-related research.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.

What you'll need

• 7 years of experience in roles centered around infrastructure delivery (application hosting and/or end user services), with a proven track record of operational process change and improvement.
• Expertise in application hosting technologies, with specialized emphasis on IBM WebSphere/WebLogic Application Server, WebSphere Process Server, WebLogic Forms and Reports, and IHS (HTTP Server).
• Expertise in other web hosting technologies such as Oracle Application Server and Apache Tomcat.
• Expertise in Java/J2EE deployments.
• Unix shell script programming and automation tools.
• Thorough understanding of industry and corporate technology standards for Information Security.
• Ability to analyze and apply corporate policy/guidelines and business-specific policies.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective analytic and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to work with virtual and in-person teams, and under pressure to a deadline.
• Bachelor's/University degree.

• Master's degree.
• Experience in a Financial Services or large, complex and/or global environment.
• Understanding of how specialization within the area contributes to the business and of competitors' products and services.
• Ability to develop projects required for design of metrics, analytical tools, benchmarking activities and best practices.
