Overview
Intern in Engineering Operations supporting the design and operation of contractor management, non-manpower spend, and ticketing processes. The role works with the EngOps team and cross-functional stakeholders and includes leading one AI or data analytics initiative.
What you'll do
- Partner with the EngOps Manager to stand up contractor management and extension processes.
- Verify submissions with P&C, Finance, and PMO.
- Raise and track JIRA tickets.
- Follow up with Engineering leaders and Procurement to keep requests moving without unnecessary delays.
- Design and maintain a tracker for contractor extension requests and turnaround times.
- Provide visibility into request performance against SLAs with P&C and Procurement.
- Help identify bottlenecks before they become problems.
- Take ownership of a slice of the Non-Manpower COGS initiative.
- Liaise directly with Procurement to identify savings opportunities.
- Help build a standing playbook of vendor options for future negotiations.
- Identify and drive one AI or data analytics use case.
- Explore how automation or smarter reporting could improve contractor and procurement processes.
What you'll need
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematic, Business or a closely related field.
- University student or fresh graduate; applications are welcome from individuals of all ages.
- A technical background is not required, but a genuine interest in building and running processes and playbooks is required.
- Comfort managing multiple stakeholders across Engineering, P&C, Finance, and Procurement.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to track tickets, requests, and submissions without letting things fall through the cracks.
- Familiarity with, or willingness to quickly learn, tools such as JIRA and spreadsheets to build and maintain trackers.

- Fresh graduate or final-year student.
