Interview Engineer (Germany)

Overview

Interview Engineers facilitate technical interviews with software developers around the world, creating inclusive hiring processes by mitigating bias, improving hiring signals, and completing objective evaluations. This is a contractor/freelancer opportunity compensated based on tasks performed.

What you'll do

• Interview candidates through Karat's platform, creating an enjoyable candidate experience while evaluating fundamental coding skills and technical knowledge.
• Evaluate candidates' performance, coding style, communication skills, knowledge question answers, and coding approach.
• Collaborate with Karat to test content, processes, and products.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Engineer.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and oral) with a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable access to a working webcam, microphone, and a stable Internet connection.
• Resumes must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting technical interviews (e.g., data structures, algorithms).
