IT Data Analyst

Overview

IT Data Analyst responsible for building and maintaining SQL-based data extraction and transformation, ensuring data quality in Azure pipelines, and troubleshooting production data issues.

What you'll do

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins and CTEs, for data extraction and transformation.
• Implement and verify business logic and data quality checks within ADF and Databricks pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues using root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Track system performance to ensure timely data delivery within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders for operational and analytical data needs.
• Support shift hours as required in EST time zones.
• Work with Azure DevOps for CI/CD, release processes, and Dev to Ops handover.

What you'll need

• 2–4 years of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or ETL processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification.
• Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Technical skills in Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python/PySpark.
