Senior Data Engineer

Overview

Senior Data Engineer in Hyderabad (hybrid) collaborating with product, engineering, and architecture teams to design, develop, integrate, and test Data Product features on product roadmaps.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Product Owners and engineering leads to create architectural direction for platform teams.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and service providers to elaborate solutions, interfaces, and validate technology assumptions.
• Produce end-to-end solution designs and feature designs that enable frequent incremental customer value delivery.
• Drive adaptive design practices and resolve design risks through architectural or agile practices.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies to elicit requirements and shape/validate designs or prototypes.
• Provide oversight/champion quality, decoupled and modernised architectures.
• Design and deliver large-scale data pipeline and ETL solutions in production.

What you'll need

• Experience of 10–14 years in the role.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in design, development, and architecting complex software solutions.
• 10+ years working as a hands-on software developer, end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying ETL pipelines with debugging in Python/PySpark.
• Experience with real-time and batch ETL ingestion/transformation pipelines.
• Experience with cloud scheduling/orchestration and services such as GCS, Kubernetes, Kafka, PubSub.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Harness), infrastructure as code using Terraform, and monitoring (Dynatrace).
