Optimisation Data Analyst

Overview

Optimization Data Analyst driving scalable optimizations and advanced analytics for Adyen’s global Performance Optimization team.

What you'll do

• Analyze large-scale payment datasets to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Design and build scalable analytics solutions, automation pipelines, and self-service tools.
• Collaborate with Product, Data, and Commercial teams to deliver analytical solutions.
• Lead A/B testing and data investigations to validate hypotheses.
• Synthesize data into narratives tailored for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support knowledge sharing and elevate analytical standards within the team.

What you'll need

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, data science, or similar roles.
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark.
• Hands-on experience in large-scale data processing.
• Ability to design and develop scalable ETL and data pipelines with data validations.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Spark and Airflow.
• Version control experience using Git.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau and dashboard development.
