Overview
IT Manufacturing Application Developer responsible for designing, building, testing, and improving global manufacturing IT applications across the SDLC.
What you'll do
- Review and document SDLC processes and specifications based on user requirements.
- Analyze and design global manufacturing IT applications.
- Develop applications per user requirements.
- Enhance or revamp existing applications for improvements.
- Test applications in the Development & Test environment before go-live.
- Analyze application performance and take actions to improve efficiency.
- Update application documentation and procedures and train business users as needed.
What you'll need
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years hands-on experience developing applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Skills in .NET Core/.NET 6+, C# and/or VB.NET, and ASP.NET (MVC/Web API).
- Knowledge of MySQL or MS SQL Server and PL/SQL.
- Experience with React/ReactJS, Blazor, and IIS administration.
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Experience collaborating in a team-based environment in a technical capacity.
Nice to have
- Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Source code version control experience (e.g., Team Foundation Server or Git).
- Familiarity with manufacturing domain applications and processes.
- Experience supporting and maintaining service-oriented architectures (SOA/microservices).
- Exposure to Data Analytics, Machine Learning, or AI-related technologies & frameworks.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
