IT Operations Specialist - Communication

Overview

IT Operations Specialist for Communication responsible for end-to-end run operations and service management for communication platforms and supporting ITSM practices.

What you'll do

• Act as a point of contact for escalations around IT processes.
• Analyze console/system failures and take corrective action to ensure continuity of operations.
• Track ITSM processes and performance reviews; provide status to IT leadership and recommend improvements.
• Handle incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management as part of ITSM support.
• Monitor system performance against SLAs/SLOs and oversee MTTR reduction.
• Lead incident/defect management including major incidents, RCA, and L2/L3 troubleshooting.
• Drive run operations for platforms including Webfactory, Media Gallery, Airbus TV, WHIP, Social Media Platform, and Web Analytics.

What you'll need

• 4-7 years of experience in IT operations and service management.
• Experience in application support and maintenance, bug fixes, and L2 & L3 support.
• Knowledge of tools including Jira, version one, and ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes such as incident, problem, and change management.
• Experience diagnosing, reproducing, and addressing application issues with strong analytical skills.
• Government of SAFe/Scaled Agile in software development is required (working within SAFe Agile / Scaled Agile).
• Ability to handle triage and resolution of incidents and assist in change management and deployment support.
