IT Power Platform Analyst

Overview

Power Platform Application Technical & Business Analyst role at Solventum, focused on designing, building and supporting business automation and digital transformation solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable solutions using SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse to drive business process automation and digital transformation.
• Implement end-to-end applications, workflows, dashboards, and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, and third-party APIs) while ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
• Gather business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing current processes, and translating needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Support ongoing operations by troubleshooting issues, optimizing existing solutions, providing enhancements, and training business users to maximize adoption and value.
• Support critical production issues and ensure high availability & business continuity.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly learn new business processes and technologies.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
• Ability to document solutions, train end-users, and promote adoption of Power Platform tools.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 5+ years of experience in application development, solution design, or related IT field.
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Power Platform (SharePoint, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Experience designing and developing model-driven and canvas Power Apps to automate business processes and improve user experience.
• Strong knowledge of Power Automate for building complex workflows, approvals, and system integrations.
• Understanding of governance, security roles, solution management, and best practices in a Power Platform environment.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse, MS SQL, and Azure SQL as data sources and integration points.

Nice to have

• Familiarity / Hands-on experience creating and deploying Copilot agents and integrating AI-driven capabilities into Power Platform solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices for CI/CD in Power Platform.

• Work location: Hybrid, Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Domestic travel may include up to 20%.
