IT Technical Support Engineer

Overview

Senior Associate IT Technical Support Engineer providing IT infrastructure and systems support for internal clients. Handles incident/problem resolution by identifying, investigating, and restoring service.

What you'll do

• Conduct regular reviews to ensure assigned infrastructure is configured, installed, tested, and operational.
• Ensure software is installed and configured according to business requirements.
• Proactively identify problems, events, incidents, and errors before or as they occur.
• Resolve calls and determine root cause for incidents, events, and problems.
• Manage resolution of incidents, problems, events, and requests, including updates with progress and details.
• Receive and process service desk calls, incidents, problems, requests, and events when required.
• Escalate unresolved issues to next-level engineers and/or 3rd-party vendors.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in IT/Computing or related field.
• Relevant IT certifications such as ITIL and Microsoft 365.
• Moderate experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting in an IT Technical Support role within a large ICT organization.
• Moderate experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders at different business levels.
• Moderate technical experience with technologies including Secure Print, MS Azure, Meeting Room Technologies, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences.
