Java and Angular Full Stack Developer

Overview

Java and Angular Full Stack Developer role in Citi's Applications Development group, an intermediate-level Senior Programmer Analyst position contributing to the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.

What you'll do

• Monitor and control all phases of the development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing and implementation.
• Provide user and operational support on applications to business users.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and issues, evaluate business and system processes and industry standards, and make evaluative judgements.
• Recommend and develop security measures in post-implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality.
• Consult with users, clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems.
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations and Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• Experience building an enterprise-scale, highly componentized application using Java, JPA and the Spring Framework.
• Recent experience with modern UI development using Angular.
• Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous techniques.
• Proficient in industry standard best practices such as design patterns, coding standards, coding modularity and prototypes.
• Experienced in RDBMS and SQL/PL-SQL.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks, JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience working in CI/CD environments and code quality tools such as SonarQube.
• Experience working with microservices utilizing REST, SOAP, etc.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
