Java Backend Developer - Assistant Vice President

Overview

Java backend developer role focused on building application services using Java and microservices.

What you'll do

• Develop hands-on applications using Java.
• Build microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot.
• Design event-driven distributed architecture with microservices.
• Work with Web Services using REST and/or SOAP.
• Apply design patterns, concurrency frameworks, and data structures/collections.
• Use Kafka and Docker in application development.

What you'll need

• At least 7–10 years of hands-on application development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java 11/17 and J2EE.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture using Spring Boot.
• Expertise with Web Services (REST/SOAP), design patterns, and concurrency frameworks.
• Knowledge of Kafka and data structures/collections.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as Oracle/SQL.
• Basic knowledge of Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebSocket technology.
• Experience with Elasticsearch.
• Experience with OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Angular 14.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
