Java Developer

Overview

Work closely with the Engineering Manager and product team to develop an application that integrates with other existing point solutions. Acts as a hands-on developer with a test-driven approach, contributing high quality, production-ready code.

What you'll do

• Work closely with Engineering Manager and product team to develop an application which integrates with other existing point solutions.
• Contribute high quality, production ready code as a hands-on developer with a test-driven approach to coding.
• Resolve technical issues and bring in innovation that improves scalability and performance of TU products.

What you'll need

• 5+ years' experience in building Java backend services.
• Strong coding and debugging skills with experience in backend technologies including one or more of the following: Java, Hibernate, Spring boot.
• Adept at microservices application architecture, with hands-on experience in design and development/coding.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment tools including Harness.
• Hands-on experience with code control and code review tools like Git, Gerrit, Harness.
• Strong inter-personal communication and collaboration skills.
• A good team player, high level of personal commitment and 'can do' attitude.
• 5 years' experience in Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot.
• 3 years' experience in Vue.
• 5 years' experience with cloud platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vue, Spark, MapReduce, Python, GCP, BigQuery, SQL and NoSQL datastores.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS/GCP.

Details

• Hybrid position: regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
• Location: Pune.
