Java Developer (Springboot, Microservices, Rest API) – 4+Yrs, Bangalore/Pune

Overview

Java Developer role on the Launchpad-UI team, building and maintaining Java/Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs for global payments.

What you'll do

• Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies.
• Interact with product managers and/or users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements.
• Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
• Start coding and unit testing API development with an understanding of requirements.
• Guide junior team members on technical difficulties and solve business problems.
• Take interviews for junior positions.

What you'll need

• Core Java and Java 8+.
• Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring MVC.
• Design patterns.
• Microservices and RESTful API.
• OAuth2 and JPA.
• Logging.
• Basics of cloud environment, CI/CD, DevOps, and GitHub.
• Servlet container.
• Basics of Unix scripts and database concepts.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.

Nice to have

• Fintech/payments domain experience.
