Java Full Stack - Senior Associate

Join PwC Acceleration Center India as a Java Full Stack Senior Associate to design, build and test software solutions that drive digital transformation within the Technology Consulting practice.

What you'll do

• Develop innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation and enhance business performance
• Design, code and test applications using Java and other programming languages to deliver exceptional user experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement software development methodologies such as Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
• Conduct code reviews and debugging to maintain coding standards and improve software quality
• Utilize API management and microservices architecture to optimize application integration and functionality
• Manage software project planning and lifecycle management to validate timely delivery of solutions
• Engage in client management to build meaningful relationships and address evolving needs
• Apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate complex situations and deliver value
• Uphold professional and technical standards while fostering a culture of inclusion and teamwork

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Core Java (Java 11+) and OOP principles
• Spring Boot / Spring MVC / Spring Data JPA
• RESTful API design and development
• JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• State management (Redux or React Query)
• Hibernate/JPA for ORM
• Build tools: Maven or Gradle
• Unit testing: JUnit, Mockito
• SQL (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL)
• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript for full-stack development
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and API management
• Excel in client management and building meaningful client connections
• Navigate complex software engineering challenges with critical thinking
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment
