Java Full Stack - Senior Associate

Overview

Develop and support Java full stack software solutions within PwC's Software Engineering practice, across design, coding, testing and deployment, as a Senior Associate in the Acceleration Center India.

What you'll do

• Develop Java full stack applications across client engagements, from requirements analysis through design, coding, testing and deployment.
• Build scalable user interfaces and service layers using Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, REST services and related application frameworks.
• Translate functional needs into technical solutions, data models and integration patterns for modern application landscapes.
• Perform code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting to address defects and improve application stability.
• Apply CI/CD pipelines, version control and application lifecycle management practices to support efficient delivery.
• Collaborate with client teams to interpret feedback, clarify requirements and adjust technical approaches as priorities change.
• Support test planning, test automation and acceptance testing to validate application behavior and release readiness.
• Contribute to cloud-native and on-premise modernization efforts, including microservices design and system integration.
• Mentor junior team members by sharing coding approaches, design patterns and problem-solving methods.
• Interpret data and technical findings to inform recommendations, identify risks and guide delivery decisions.

What you'll need

• At least a Bachelor's degree.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering.
• Developing Java full stack applications using Spring Boot and React.
• Applying CI/CD, Git and automated testing in delivery workflows.
