Jr. Engineer / Engineer - Quality

Overview

Jr. Engineer / Engineer - Quality is a quality-operations role focused on site safety/environment rule adherence, production quality audits, and training/containment actions for quality issues.

What you'll do

• Follow and ensure knowledge of site safety and environment rules.
• Apply and teach quality rules and quality tools.
• Conduct production audits for safety/quality work instructions, first-piece release, and Poka Yoke operation.
• Audit standards used in production and notify supervisors of non-conformities.
• Audit control-plan requirements (content, method, frequency, results, reaction to non-conformities).
• Support stoppage/reaction rules for first defects and monitor QRAPs according to standards.

What you'll need

• Perform StEDE assessments (support or perform).
• Prepare Quality Alerts and train involved teams on their content.
• Ensure no rework occurs without an approved work instruction, trained operators, and documented results.
• Train operators on quality requirements and manage Magic Square level 2 certification.
• Maintain measurement equipment in good condition and ensure calibration/re-calibration schedules are followed.
