Junior AR Analyst

Overview

The Account Receivable (AR) Junior Analyst is responsible for timely and accurate recording of cash receipts, direct debit runs, and invoice matching into AR ledgers, and for reconciliation and related accounting tasks.

What you'll do

• Post cash to outstanding invoices and maintain AR ledger accuracy.
• Perform day-to-day processing of cheques, direct debit runs, and EFT/wire transfers for AR transactions.
• Review and process refund transactions, deductions, and other payment differences per policy.
• Review auto-posted transactions and issue debit notes and credit notes per policy.
• Allocate incoming payments and investigate payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Support collections by monitoring customer accounts and handling ad-hoc queries within credit standards.
• Prepare period-close documents and support weekly/monthly bank reconciliations for AR balances.

What you'll need

• Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable, cash application, master data, data analytics, or customer service.
• Bachelor’s degree in economics, business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with financial accounting experience.
• Systems knowledge: AS 400 and SAP.
• English language skills stated as B2-C1.
• Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills for managing relationships.
• Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
