Overview

Senior Billing Specialist / Billing Team Lead for the India AR Delivery Hub, managing billing operations across multiple regions and leading a team to ensure accurate, timely billing.

What you'll do

• Handle the daily billing queue, allocate work, and ensure SLA adherence for India billing specialists.
• Support invoice creation, recurring billing, portal uploads, billing status tracking, and initial corrections.
• Review billing output for accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and adherence to SOPs and controls.
• Coordinate with Regional Billing Leads for Americas and APAC billing requirements.
• Advance non-standard billing issues, contract/pricing questions, and customer-impacting exceptions to the appropriate regional owner or AR Resolution Team.
• Train and guide India billing specialists for backup support across regions.
• Maintain SOPs, process documentation, quality checklists, and billing performance reporting.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, order-to-cash, shared services, or finance operations.
• Preferred experience in prior team lead/senior specialist/quality review/process trainer roles.
• Strong knowledge of billing controls, invoice accuracy, customer portals, and procedure-based processing.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across India, Americas, and APAC.
