Junior Engineer- Component Engineering

Overview

Support component engineering activities for electrical, electronic, and indirect materials in a manufacturing environment. Maintain component data, support product changes, and help improve procurement processes.

What you'll do

• Maintain component, manufacturer, and approved vendor data in the global database.
• Review component attributes against datasheets.
• Validate manufacturer part numbers and identify alternates.
• Monitor component end-of-life status and manage obsolescence.
• Support cross-functional implementation of product component changes.
• Respond to business partner and customer queries about component specifications.
• Generate reports, train team members, and perform root cause analysis.

What you'll need

• Be a B.E. graduate in ECE, EEE, or E&I.
• Have 0–2 years of component engineering experience in a manufacturing setup.
• Knowledge of NPI and bill of materials management.
• Knowledge of semiconductor sourcing or analysis.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems, preferably BAAN.
• Hands-on experience with PLM software.
• Good English communication, analytical, logical-thinking, and Microsoft Office skills.
