Junior Engineer Facilities

Overview

Support uninterrupted manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting facility and utility systems. The role focuses on water systems, facility reliability, maintenance coordination, and safe work practices.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot facility and utility systems.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Maintain purified water generation, distribution, and molecular biology-grade water systems.
• Monitor water-quality parameters and coordinate troubleshooting with OEMs and service providers.
• Track facility KPIs, including uptime, OEE, spare-parts management, and SLAs.
• Coordinate contractors and verify maintenance work quality and completion.
• Maintain temperature records and facility documentation for ISO 13485 audits.

What you'll need

• Understanding of building mechanical and utility systems, including compressors, chillers, AHUs, pumps, and cooling towers.
• Knowledge of CMMS and building management systems.
• Working knowledge of chemical safety, lockout/tagout, PPE, and effluent discharge norms.
• Ability to diagnose equipment faults and restore systems safely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for maintenance reporting.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Safety, quality, ownership, problem-solving, teamwork, and continuous improvement focus.
