Jr. Maintenance Engineer

Overview

Jr. Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing equipment performance and maintenance in Bengaluru. The role troubleshoots downtime, executes repairs and installations, and helps plan preventive maintenance and upgrades.

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing equipment downtime to maximize output.
• Monitor equipment status and performance with Production and Engineering.
• Proactively identify and resolve equipment problems using troubleshooting and repair methods.
• Execute and document repairs and adjustments to equipment and tools.
• Assess equipment performance and repair history to plan preventative maintenance and upgrades.
• Create maintenance procedures and reports.
• Lead, supervise, and delegate tasks to maintenance technicians and support training and performance management.
• Execute installations of instruments/equipment with required documentation.

What you'll need

• 4-5 years of experience in automation equipment maintenance.
• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.
• Proficiency in CMMS and PLM.
• Knowledge of automation and PLCs.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of pneumatics actuators and cylinders.
• Familiarity with electrical/electronic components and automation systems including sensors and motors.
