Overview

Junior Full Stack Engineer – AI to help build an AI-enabled platform across backend, frontend, and an AI pipeline.

What you'll do

• Ship product features end-to-end from backend through the user interface.
• Work across the stack using React, Node/Express, Postgres, and AWS.
• Help build the platform’s AI pipeline, including prompt engineering, context management, and AI evaluations.
• Trace and fix production bugs using tools such as Sentry and CloudWatch.
• Collaborate with the CTO and grant team to build solutions for real user problems.
• Use AI-native development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor in your workflow.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience or recent university graduation with strong projects.
• Solid fundamentals in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Curiosity and willingness to work across the full stack (React, Node/Express, Postgres, AWS).
• High self-motivation to dig into problems and willingness to receive feedback.
• AI-native development approach with familiarity using tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
• User-first mindset focused on building for real people.

Nice to have

• First experience with AI tools or LLM APIs via university or side projects.
• German language skills at B1 level or above.
• Independent side project, open-source contribution, or similar work.
