Junior Legal Counsel

Overview

Provide legal support to an in-house legal team across multiple EMEA jurisdictions. Advise on straightforward matters, assist with complex matters under supervision, and draft and negotiate commercial contracts in English and German.

What you'll do

• Advise internal teams and triage legal requests.
• Assist senior counsel with complex legal matters and projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, NDAs, and related agreements.
• Track contracts, renewals, corporate filings, deadlines, and stakeholder actions.
• Conduct legal research and produce practical advice.
• Improve contract templates, clause libraries, and negotiation playbooks.
• Support corporate governance, KYC, and due-diligence activities.

What you'll need

• 2–3 years of experience as a lawyer.
• Experience in commercial or corporate legal practice, in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining contracts in English and German.
• Business fluency in German.
• Strong project-management, time-management, and organisational skills.
• Ability to conduct legal research and provide clear, practical advice.
• Ability to identify issues, escalate appropriately, and propose practical solutions.
