Overview

Junior Storage platform Engineer supporting Tier 1/Tier 2 storage and backup environments to ensure reliability, security, and optimal performance.

What you'll do

Implement and manage enterprise storage solutions.
Design, deploy, and maintain SAN, NAS, and cloud storage environments.
Monitor storage performance and capacity, including capacity forecasting and tuning.
Administer and manage large-scale storage arrays (e.g., zoning, LUN provisioning, volume management).
Troubleshoot complex storage and backup issues, including connectivity and data integrity errors.
Administer enterprise backup software and perform restore tests for backup validation.

What you'll need

3-4 years of experience in storage and backup engineering or administration.
2-3 years of experience with modern storage solutions (NetApp, Dell, Pure, Infinidat) and cloud storage technologies.
2-3 years of hands-on expertise with enterprise backup software (Cohesity, Rubrik) including data and disaster recovery processes.
2-3 years of experience with virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere or other hypervisors.
2-3 years of experience with storage protocols including Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS, S3, and iSCSI.
1-2 years of experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell or Python).
