Knowledge Systems (Visual FRU Information) Administrator

Overview

Day-to-day administration, governance, support and continuous improvement of the Visual FRU Identifier (VFI) and User Documentation Portals and the wider aftermarket platform, acting as the primary point of contact for VFI operations and user management.

What you'll do

• Administer and maintain the Visual FRU Identifier (VFI) and User Documentation Portals, ensuring high availability, reliability, performance and operational effectiveness.
• Administer and maintain the aftermarket platform, ensuring system availability and data integrity.
• Manage user provisioning, access permissions, periodic access reviews and compliance with aftermarket access policies.
• Resolve user tickets, troubleshoot issues and coordinate with IT and vendors as required.
• Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, define governance rules and implement approved changes.
• Maintain VFI structure, metadata, mappings and related system configurations.
• Support onboarding, training and user communications related to aftermarket usage and best practices.
• Participate in aftermarket enhancement projects, including future initiatives such as customer-facing delivery capabilities.
• Develop reports, metrics and recommendations to improve platform adoption and operational efficiency.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience administering internal parts and document portals.
• Experience administering enterprise content, learning or knowledge management systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and customer support skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and manage system governance activities.
• Technical knowledge: experience with CCMS platforms (such as Ixiasoft).
• Technical knowledge: experience with SharePoint, Azure-based platforms, customer portals or knowledge management systems.
• Technical knowledge: familiarity with Snowflake, CRM, ServiceNow and LMS integrations.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with metadata, content delivery workflows and system integrations.
