KYC Operations Analyst 1 – C09

Overview

Entry-level KYC Operations Analyst role focused on AML monitoring, KYC record development, validation, and regulatory reporting support in coordination with Compliance and Control.

What you'll do

• Participate in AML monitoring, governance, oversight, and regulatory reporting activities with Compliance and Control.
• Partner with Relationship Management and Compliance to prepare and develop electronic KYC records and supporting appendices.
• Create and maintain KYC records by obtaining information from internal and external sources.
• Update system information for KYC record workflow from initiation to approval and report progress to the supervisor.
• Validate KYC records and Customer Identification Program (CIP) documents for completion and accuracy.
• Ensure KYC records incorporate local regulatory requirements and relevant standards.
• Maintain the BSU tool and assess risk when business decisions are made, escalating and reporting control issues transparently.

What you'll need

• Previous relevant experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with laws, rules, and regulations.
• Skills in management reporting, policy and procedure, and program management.
• Capability for risk identification, assessment, and remediation.
• Demonstrated referral and escalation practices and risk controls and monitoring.
