Investigation Associate

Overview

Ethos Life is hiring an Investigation Associate to investigate insurance fraud and risk by assessing risk indicators, validating potential fraudulent activity, and supporting special handling of complex risk scenarios.

What you'll do

• Conduct account investigations to identify fraudulent insurance agents, customer accounts, payment risks, and other fraud vectors.
• Assist investigations on customer accounts and support insurance partner requirements.
• Make basic account-level judgments using data and predefined criteria.
• Contact Policy Owners as directed to gather information for investigations and fraud validation.
• Support maintaining fraud detection strategies and business rules under supervision.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop investigation skills.

What you'll need

• Some experience or interest in fraud analysis, investigations, or operations.
• Basic understanding of risk or fraud prevention concepts (preferred).
• Ability to use data and tools to support investigations with guidance.
• Good communication skills for outreach to Policy Owners and Agents.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Growth mindset and team-oriented approach.
