Safeguards Enforcement Analyst, Safety Evaluations

Overview

Safeguards Enforcement Analyst (Safety Evaluations) ensuring models meet safety and policy standards before and after launch.

What you'll do

• Run, monitor, and interpret safety evaluations to support launch readiness.
• Surface regressions or unexpected model behavior changes to relevant stakeholders.
• Partner with policy and domain experts to identify risks and scope evaluation approaches.
• Coordinate creation of new evaluations and keep existing evaluations current with changing policies and threat vectors.
• Interpret evaluation outcomes and drive mitigations when issues are identified.
• Build documentation, processes, and frameworks to improve evaluation quality and scalability.
• Help design tooling improvements to expand self-serve evaluation creation and iteration.

What you'll need

• Experience in trust and safety, content operations, policy enforcement, or a related operational role at a technology company.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
• Experience building processes/workflows/programs from scratch (zero-to-one).
• Strong program management instincts for complex, multi-stakeholder efforts.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams while tracking timelines and deliverables.
• Strong communication skills in writing and cross-functional settings.
