L2/L3 QA engineer

Overview

L2/L3 QA engineer for the Data Center (DC-QA) team, supporting quality assurance for networking domains and releases shipped to customers.

What you'll do

• Support customer-specific tests for a release, product, and solution.
• Develop and maintain expertise in products deployed within specific customer networks.
• Provide solid support of networking products involving customer-specific testing.
• Work with internal teams including development, QA, and program management to deliver high-quality items.
• Prepare test plans and execute tests for complex customer networks.
• Debug automation failures by narrowing software issues from test results and logs.

What you'll need

• Must have a strong routing/switching background.
• Must have strong experience with router and switch architecture.
• Must have 10+ years of relevant test experience in Layer 2/Layer 3 technologies.
• Must have a B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering; or a Master degree or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of L2/L3 protocols and networking fundamentals is required.
• Experience in manual and automation of multi-dimensional, scaled solutions testing is required.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills and be self-motivated.
