Sr.Princ SQA Engineer

Overview

Sr. Principal SQA Engineer responsible for manual testing, test automation, and release driving for a mobile portfolio.

What you'll do

• Own manual testing and automation across the mobile portfolio.
• Drive releases, ensuring deliverables ship on time and with high quality.
• Design test cases from requirements and communicate to resolve requirement gaps.
• Run and apply testing methodology including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and edge-case analysis.
• Use mobile testing frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest for automation.
• Manage defects and work toward a zero-defect backlog using tools like Jira and BrowserStack.

What you'll need

• ~10+ years in SQA with senior/principal-level scope and impact.
• Hands-on SQA experience including test planning, defect identification, and reporting.
• Experience testing Android and iOS apps, including native and React Native.
• Understanding of mobile-specific testing concerns (form factors, OS versions, app lifecycle, offline/sync, performance).
• Prior coding experience in Java, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Swift, or strong willingness to learn automation and scripting.
• Exposure to app store release processes (App Store Connect and Google Play Console).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
