L2 Security Engineer

Overview

L2 Security Engineer role with an average requirement to work 2 days per week from an HPE office (hybrid).

What you'll do

• Resolve hardware and software technical issues from incoming internal/external contacts and proactive notification systems.
• Answer service, product, technical, and customer-relations questions for features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products.
• Proactively help businesses and end users avoid or reduce problem occurrence.
• Act as a team or project leader by providing direction and facilitating information validation and team decision-making.
• Review and potentially resolve complex business issues and add case resolution to KMS.
• Use ITIL and represent the company in face-to-face customer visits, conferences/trade shows, and vendor meetings.

What you'll need

• Vocational apprenticeship/certification completion (technical or non-technical), potentially with on-the-job training.
• Associate degree (first attainable post-high school degree) or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in relevant technologies and customer environments.
• Experience troubleshooting in a technical environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the language to be supported.
• Advanced proficiency with case management databases and tools.
• Phone and remote support skills.
