Staff Security Engineer, AI Security

Overview

Staff Product Security Engineer for AI Security, providing technical leadership to secure AI-assisted development, protect AI-enabled products and agentic systems, and use AI to improve vulnerability detection and remediation.

What you'll do

• Translate AI security requirements into scalable controls, testing, and enforcement across products and business units.
• Design, implement, and operate controls for AI-assisted software development (security review of AI-generated code, constraints, automated testing, risk-based enforcement).
• Lead security reviews for AI-enabled applications, models, agents, retrieval systems, data flows, and external tool integrations.
• Develop controls for agent identity, least privilege, tool access, execution isolation, human approval, and interruption of unsafe behavior.
• Build runtime monitoring, auditability, detection, containment, and incident-response requirements for AI systems.
• Develop and scale AI-driven vulnerability discovery, validation, prioritization, and remediation across teams.

What you'll need

• 5+ years relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep knowledge of application security vulnerabilities and secure software development practices.
• Hands-on experience securing AI systems.
• Strong software-engineering experience building and operating production security tooling and automation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to influence technical and senior stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
