Overview

Staff Security Engineer focused on API security within Product and AI Security engineering.

What you'll do

• Identify and resolve complex security issues using specialized security expertise.
• Partner across teams to drive security initiatives and lead complex programs.
• Apply advanced analytical skills to solve security challenges and recommend approaches.
• Build an end-state API security capability plane combining multiple API security checks.
• Take an API security pre-release gate from architecture draft to a shipped control.
• Own a DAST tooling strategy end to end, executing a production migration decision.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years building production software with staff-level ownership end to end.
• Hands-on coding experience in Python or Go.
• Deep, hands-on expertise in API architecture, authZ/authN, and API gateway/service-mesh internals.
• Working fluency in policy-as-code approaches and CI/CD security gating.
