- Lead and develop rework, reflow, and logistics technicians, including outsourced workers, for day-to-day execution and opex procurement.
- Plan and forecast long-term lab needs (space, power, cooling, thermal, equipment) and own capital and expense planning.
- Drive lab growth, reconfiguration, and ramp-down as programs evolve.
- Partner with bring-up managers to scope incoming silicon programs (requirements, procurement, budget, staffing) ahead of milestones.
- Manage lab EHS compliance and security controls, including audit-ready safety and physical IP practices.
- Own equipment end-to-end, capital/expense purchasing, warranty, calibration, and inventory processes across labs.
What you'll need

- 8+ years of overall experience in silicon/HW lab setup, management, and maintenance.
- 3+ years managing a technical lab environment and leading teams, including multi-site ownership of a lab section.
- Track record owning capital and expense equipment planning, vendor/outsourced-worker management, and inventory/logistics tracking.
- Hands-on experience operating lab equipment (oscilloscope, DAQ, and other common equipment) and hardware assembly/teardown and solder/rework.
- Experience working with multi-functional teams (SW, validation, ASIC, and other hardware/software functions) with strong communication across sites.
- Familiarity with HW bring-ups, computer systems, and debugging.
Nice to have
- Experience with CPU/SOC chip bring-up and validation process.
- Multi-site or global lab coordination experience for shared standards, vendor frameworks, or capacity planning across regions.
