Lead Analyst Developer- Java

Overview

Lead Analyst Developer (Java) responsible for delivering enterprise Java solutions for FNZ’s wealth management platform, combining hands-on development with technical leadership across the software lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Java-based applications to enterprise standards.
• Deliver end-to-end work across analysis, design, build, test, release, and support.
• Build solutions that are performant, secure, scalable, and highly available.
• Work on distributed systems and high-volume transaction processing platforms.
• Collaborate with solution architects on system design and technical decisions.
• Provide technical guidance and conduct code reviews, mentoring developers.
• Support production issues with root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

What you'll need

• Core Java hands-on experience (8+ years).
• Enterprise Java experience including Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Messaging framework experience such as Kafka or JMS.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git, and Maven/Gradle.
• Agile/Scrum experience and automated testing practices (JUnit, Mockito).
• 6–9 years of relevant software development experience with a technical leadership component.
