Lead Application Engineer

Overview

Lead Application Engineer supporting HVAC controls and building automation solutions. Develop, test, and deliver control applications, graphics, and technical documentation for factory and field-deployed systems.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain control programs using Automated Logic tools.
• Implement and validate HVAC equipment sequences of operation.
• Build and maintain equipment graphics across products and platforms.
• Develop and integrate applications using communication protocols.
• Test and troubleshoot applications and graphics with lab hardware and simulations.
• Prepare sequence, installation, startup, and technical documentation.
• Support bug fixes, graphics updates, product obsolescence, and sustaining engineering.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding and field experience with HVAC systems and control strategies.
• Experience with building automation systems or controls programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug control-system or software issues.
• Experience with Automated Logic tools including Eikon, EQBuilder, SiteBuilder, ViewBuilder, WebCTRL, and iVu.
• Familiarity with BACnet or similar communication protocols.
• Experience developing HVAC control applications for systems including chiller plants, RTUs, VAV, AHU, FCU, and heat pumps.
