Lead Cloud Developer-BMaaS

Overview

Lead Cloud Developer for HPE Hybrid Cloud/BMaaS, working on design, development, and product portfolio of a next-generation cloud platform (Green Lake).

What you'll do

• Lead project team activities across solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
• Review and evaluate designs and test plans, and develop code to comply with cloud design/development guidelines.
• Provide feedback to improve product quality and mitigate risks.
• Represent the engineering team in technical forums and mentor less-experienced team members.
• Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into software systems design projects.
• Analyze complex data processing problems (application/system administration/network) and implement solutions.
• Design and integrate software systems across multiple platform types into overall architecture.

What you'll need

• Typically 7-10 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related quantitative discipline.
• Proficiency in Go and Bash/PowerShell for server provisioning, configuration, and image deployment.
• Experience with Terraform or Ansible for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep knowledge of Linux and networking protocols (TCP/IP, VLAN, PXE, DHCP) plus firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of storage (Local Storage, RAID, LVM) and network provisioning (PXE booting/servers).
• Familiarity with cloud/virtualization (AWS/Azure; KVM/OpenVZ) for hybrid deployments.

• Work mode: Hybrid, averaging 2 days per week from an HPE office.
• Location: Bengaluru, Karnātaka, India.
