Lead Customer Program Manager

Overview

Lead Customer Program Manager to lead and grow a team that owns customer programs end-to-end, from scoping and kickoff through delivery, escalations, and long-term account health.

What you'll do

• Directly manage Customer Program Managers, including performance, development, and day-to-day effectiveness.
• Serve as first-line escalation for complex programs, difficult customer situations, and cross-functional blockers.
• Maintain visibility into customer program/project health by monitoring risks, tracking issues, and preventing gaps.
• Set and uphold standards for scope management, change control, risk identification, and status reporting.
• Partner cross-functionally to remove blockers affecting programs, including supply chain, operations, and quality.
• Coach a customer success mindset focused on proactive communication and long-term account health.

What you'll need

• 7–13 years of total work experience.
• Minimum 5 years managing customer-facing programs or projects in fast-paced hardware product development or contract manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years in a team lead, senior lead, or people management role with direct reports.
• Proven record running complex, multi-stakeholder customer programs end-to-end with accountability for scope, cost, timeline, and customer satisfaction.
• Direct experience working with US-based or European-based customers from India on a US business hours schedule.
• Experience with CRM/ERP tools (Salesforce, Odoo), project management tools (Jira, Asana), and data platforms like Sigma.

• Location: Bengaluru, India (Office).
• Hybrid work model: Monday–Wednesday in office, Thursday–Friday remote.
• Work hours: 7:30 PM–3:30 AM IST, Monday–Friday (aligned with US Eastern business hours).
