Lead Data AI Engineer – Vice President, Data & Analytics Engineering

Overview

Lead data and AI engineering for a technology data lake, with hands-on responsibility for data infrastructure, pipelines, and stakeholder-focused technical solutions.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Process structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize data systems for performance and scalability.
• Implement data quality and governance standards.
• Translate stakeholder data needs into technical solutions.
• Create technical documentation and training materials.
• Participate in code reviews and data architecture knowledge sharing.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• A graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent field.
• Programming proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
• Experience working on GenAI projects.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, cloud data services, and data architecture.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of SF Cortex or DBX Genie.
• Familiarity with Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, Agile, data catalog, CI/CD, or DevOps practices.
