Overview

Lead Data Engineer role responsible for leading data engineering delivery, including Big Data solutions, ETL/data pipelines, and ensuring data quality, security, and performance.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of data engineers to develop and implement Big Data solutions.
• Design and build scalable, reliable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across data systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and address business requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, systems, and infrastructure.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
• Master’s in Data Science (as an available qualification path in the posting).
• Certified Data Management Professional - Riversand.
• Databricks certifications for Apache Spark (Associate Developer).
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.
• Oracle Database 12c Certified Implementation Specialist.
• English language proficiency (Proficient - C2).
