Lead Data Engineer - Snowflake and DBT

Overview

Lead Data Engineer responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, and integrations. Focus areas include data lakes, data warehouses, and cloud/ELT/ETL solutions using Snowflake and DBT.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and maintain a data platform supporting data integrations for enterprise data warehouse, operational data store, or data marts.
• Establish enterprise-scale data integration procedures, data pipelines, and frameworks across the data development lifecycle.
• Create scheduled and trigger-based ingestion pipelines using scheduling tools.
• Performance tune complex data pipelines and SQL queries.
• Manage developer deliverables, conduct design reviews, and coordinate release management activities.
• Provide technical support for production incidents and failures.
• Collaborate with global technology teams to deliver timely business value.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of experience designing and building data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake data platform and enterprise implementations/migrations.
• Technical expertise in AWS cloud services such as S3, Lamda, Glue, Step Function, and CloudWatch.
• Expertise in designing and developing complex data pipelines.
• Technical expertise in ELT/ETL tools such as DBT (and others listed in the posting).
• Experience with SQL, Unix, and Python scripting.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration using Airflow.
