Lead Engineer - AI services

Overview

Lead Engineer responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying cloud-based software in a microservices environment. The role works with APIs, telemetry, structured and unstructured data, and ML/AI algorithms.

What you'll do

• Design and develop software solutions and functionality.
• Write, test and refactor code.
• Execute automated testing and contribute to software deployment.
• Build and integrate solutions using automation, coding and third-party software.
• Create and debug large-scale distributed systems.
• Develop technical, end-user and operational documentation.
• Review code and collaborate across multiple teams and with product teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Seasoned software development experience.
• Experience developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in programming languages including Python, Java, C/C++, C#, JavaScript or Node.js.
• Knowledge of cloud services, microservices architecture, SQL and NoSQL data stores.
• Experience with large datasets and applying ML/AI algorithms.
• Experience with Agile, Lean, DevOps and CI/CD practices.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals certification.
• Relevant Agile certifications.
