Overview
Lead the Cloud Security software engineering team’s services that turn cloud security signals into enterprise remediation actions.
What you'll do
- Serve as the senior software engineering lead and hands-on owner of the Cloud Security software portfolio.
- Lead the design, development, and operation of the findings pipeline that ingests, deduplicates, normalizes, enriches, and routes findings with SLAs.
- Design and build scalable backend services in Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot with required API contracts and observability.
- Own end-to-end ownership attribution and the noise-reduction logic for findings (correlation, suppression, enrichment).
- Build integrations connecting services to SIEM/SOAR, remediation/governance platforms, ticketing, source control, CI/CD, and internal developer platforms.
- Operate services as production systems, including availability, performance, observability, capacity, deploy cadence, and outage response with SLOs and on-call.
- Mentor engineers and set engineering patterns and standards (APIs, event streams, data models, testing, observability, resiliency, CI/CD).
What you'll need
- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of software engineering experience leading design and delivery of complex backend systems.
- Deep hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot, and fluency in at least one additional modern language.
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed, event-driven, and data-intensive backend services in production.
- Strong experience designing RESTful APIs, service-to-service integrations, and event streams.
- Experience building and operating findings/event/telemetry pipelines that aggregate signal from multiple sources and route it downstream with SLAs.
- Experience running production services with clear SLOs, on-call coverage, change management, and continuous-improvement loops.
